Children’s Residential Deputy Manager

Children’s Residential Deputy Manager focuses on supporting the registered manager with the day-to-day running of the home.

What the role involves

• Supporting the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the home.
• Ensuring safeguarding practices.
• Review of care plans and individual support programmes.
• Leading, mentoring and supervising staff members.
• Chairing meetings and contributing to care reviews where required.
• Supporting the home to meet all relevant legislation, policies and quality standards.

Skills and requirements

• Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Children and Young People.
• Working towards or holding a Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification.
• Experience working within children’s residential care.
• Knowledge of supporting children with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.

Confirmed role details

• Up to £35,360 per annum plus £2,000 joining bonus.
• Full Time, permanent.
