Children’s Residential Deputy Manager
Children’s Residential Deputy Manager focuses on supporting the registered manager with the day-to-day running of the home.
What the role involves
- Supporting the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the home.
- Ensuring safeguarding practices.
- Review of care plans and individual support programmes.
- Leading, mentoring and supervising staff members.
- Chairing meetings and contributing to care reviews where required.
- Supporting the home to meet all relevant legislation, policies and quality standards.
Skills and requirements
- Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Children and Young People.
- Working towards or holding a Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification.
- Experience working within children’s residential care.
- Knowledge of supporting children with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.
Confirmed role details
- Up to £35,360 per annum plus £2,000 joining bonus.
- Full Time, permanent.
