Confirmed role details

  • £31,925 to £32,875 per annum, depending on qualifications. (Including 5 sleep-ins per month paid at £64.95 per night).
  • Full Time (38 hours per week) This role could require a mixture of sleep-ins and waking nights, depending on the needs of the home. Sleep in’s are paid at an additional £64.95 per.
  • A referral scheme offering the same two payments as the golden hello if you recommend a contact who goes on to be employed by Break in care services. (subject to conditions).
  • 31 days annual leave per year (including bank holidays).

Additional role context

  • Develop independence, and achieve positive outcomes.
  • As a Break Senior Support Worker, you’ll be working hands-on day in day out with the young people living in the children’s home and act as the senior shift worker in the staff team.
  • For some young people, the behaviours caused by the trauma they have experienced means they need additional support.
