Children's Support Worker focuses on supporting the day-to-day running of the home.

• Supporting the day-to-day running of the home.
• Building positive routines, structure and boundaries.
• Developing trusting relationships with young people.

• Managing challenging behaviours using de-escalation techniques.
• Ensuring safeguarding and child protection standards are followed at all times.

Skills and requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
• Experience working in a residential or care setting.
• Knowledge of child development and young people’s needs.
• Ability to build professional, positive relationships.

Confirmed role details

• £27,999.72 – £29,428.49 (DOE), £101 sleep in rate.
• 40 hours per week.
• Free eye care vouchers.
