Children’s Support Worker

As a Support Worker, the work centres on managing a caseload of young people within supported accommodation. It would suit someone who can bring strong professional approach to the role.
Where ownership sits
This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people leaving care, including unaccompanied asylum-seeking young people, as they transition into independent living. We are currently recruiting for Support Workers to join a dedicated and growing Children's Contracts team across Kent.

Managing a caseload of young people within supported accommodation. Supporting the development of essential life skills such as budgeting, education, and daily living. Maintaining accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

What the role depends on
- NVQ Level 3 in Children's Social Care (or willingness to work towards).
- Previous experience working with young people within a care or support setting.
- Individuals who are passionate about supporting young people and making a meaningful difference.
Practical details
- Full-time | Permanent (40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm).
- The successful applicant will be subject to Disclosure checks through the Disclosure and Barring Service.
- This role is not open to applications from those who will require sponsorship under the points-based system.
