What the role involves

• Design of civil engineering infrastructure for various HV renewable energy projects (substations, cables etc), ensuring adherence to industry standards, company code of practice an.
• Be responsible for document control of civil engineering drawings.
• Show an understanding of architectural and structural detailing (including concrete reinforcement) and be able to do this using Revit.
• Produce design briefs.
• Offer technical support across project lifecycle.
• Managing external design resource when used, ensuring technical compliance.

Skills and requirements

• Background as a Civil Design Engineer with strong knowledge of Eurocodes and experience using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering.
• Driving licence.
