What the role involves

• Review of engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, and reports for: Masonry buildings, Steel portal frames, Transformer bunds, Drainage systems, Roads.
• Delivering projects ranging from construction contract values of £100K – £20M.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure effective project delivery, providing updates and identifying risks relating to programme, quality, or cost.
• Attend progress meetings at client/contractor offices and construction sites as required.
• Participate in design team meetings to ensure the timely flow and release of quality information aligned with project scope.
• Managing design risks to deliver practical and buildable engineering solutions.

Skills and requirements

• Proven experience working in a design environment involving: Traditional masonry buildings, Steel portal frames, Reinforced concrete structures.
• Experience in client-facing roles with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with technical teams, non-technical stakeholders, and clients.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
