Claims & Investigation Lawyer

As a Claims & Investigation Lawyer, the work centres on supporting the management of professional indemnity and employment claims and circumstances. It would suit someone who can bring careful technical judgement and practical problem-solving to the role.

Role overview

You will support the identification, management and resolution of claims, complaints and professional responsibility matters, helping to safeguard the firm's reputation and ensure. You'll join a highly respected General Counsel's Office comprising over 80 risk and compliance professionals who provide strategic legal, regulatory and risk advice across the firm.

Legal work involved

Supporting the management of professional indemnity and employment claims and circumstances. Liaising with insurers, brokers and external legal advisers. Supporting insurance renewal processes and advising on policy coverage issues.

Legal skills and experience

• Experience managing or mentoring others.
• Knowledge of US-style conflicts rules or US professional conduct rules.
• Previous experience advising on or supporting compliance with SRA professional conduct requirements.
