Who the work supports

Pertemps have an excellent opportunity for Class 1 HGV Shunter Drivers on days to work for our client at East Midlands Gateway. As a Shunter driver you will ensure yard movements are done correctly and support the smooth running of the operation.

How support shows up

Moving trailers or units around the yard. Ensure safety of others in the yard. Complete long-haul or overnight driving work safely and reliably.

Dependable and self-motivated on the road.

What needs to be in place

• Previous experience as a shunter is preferred.
• Have a valid tacho and DQC card.
• Have a positive can do attitude.

Job details

• There is a strong possibility this role will turn permanent with our client.
• Shift pattern: Nights.
• Additional detail: Weekly pay may be available.
