Class 2 Driver

HGV Class 2 Driver focuses on completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects in line with company procedures.

What the role involves

• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects in line with company procedures.
• Carrying out multi-drop deliveries to customer sites across the region.
• Assisting with the unloading of products where required.
• Ensuring all delivery paperwork and transport documentation is completed accurately.
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional manner at all times.
• Adhering to all road transport legislation, driver hours regulations, and health & safety requirements.

Skills and requirements

• Minimum 2 years' Class 2 (Category C) driving experience.
• Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences.
• Previous experience within multi-drop delivery work preferred.
