Class 2 HGV Driver

HGV Class 2 Driver focuses on safely operating a class 2 vehicle in line with company and legal requirements.

What the role involves

• Safely operating a Class 2 vehicle in line with company and legal requirements.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with VOSA regulations.
• Carrying out both home and kerbside deliveries.
• Completing approximately 12-15 drops per day.
• Using handheld scanners and completing delivery paperwork.
• Providing excellent customer service at every delivery.

Skills and requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 6 months' Class 2 driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points with no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.

Confirmed role details

• Chepstow, NP16 6UP.
• Monday - Friday 06:00 - 16:30.
• We are currently recruiting Class 2 Day Drivers for immediate starts at our client's busy site in Chepstow.
• As a Class 2 Driver, you'll be delivering a range of goods including white goods, kitchen units and worktops.
