Class 2 Specialist Driver

HGV Class 2 Driver focuses on complete multi-drop deliveries and collections between customer sites.

What the role involves

• Complete multi-drop deliveries and collections between customer sites.
• Operate vehicles safely and in line with company and legal requirements.
• Use handheld scanners and complete delivery documentation accurately.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and installations.

Skills and requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.
• Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Newly qualified drivers welcome if they show the right attitude and potential.
• No more than six penalty points and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements.

• We are recruiting for a Class 2 Specialist Driver on a temp to perm basis to join a leading logistics operation in Rochester.
• Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport.
• Competitive pay of £15.75 per hour.
• 28 days paid holiday (pro rata).
