Class Teacher

Woodfield Education Centre is looking for a Class Teacher, with the role focused on supporting lessons, learning activities, behaviour, assessment, or childcare routines according to the role. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.

Start Date: September 2026. The Headteacher and Governing Body seek to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and inspirational Class Teacher to join Woodfield Education Centre @ Carrington from September 2.

Learning support involved

Supporting lessons, learning activities, behaviour, assessment, or childcare routines according to the role. Work with teachers, children, learners, families, or colleagues to keep progress and safety on track.

Education skills and requirements

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have experience of, or strong interest in, working with pupils with SEND.
• Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.

Practical information

• Main Pay Scale to Upper Pay Scale ( Fringe) plus SEN Allowance.
