What the role involves

• Bechtel and Westinghouse Electric Company have partnered to deliver the first AP1000 nuclear power reactors in Poland for our customer, the Polish Entity Polskie Elektrownie Jadrow.
• Leads the design, development, modification, and evaluation of Civil/Structural tunnel components according to relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs).
• Design standards and guides, Bechtel Standard Application Programs (BSAPs)​.
• Design Control Check List (DCCL).
• Design Review Notices (DRNs)​.
• Reviews and approves key design documents, supplier drawings and data, material specifications, drawings, change orders, and bid summaries for the project to which assigned.

Skills and requirements

• Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
• Proven work experience emphasizing design and construction of tunnels on engineering projects.
• Ability to independently execute the detailed design drawings of tunnels.
• Willingness to travel in support of the project to client, supplier, business partner facilities or to site, as required.
