This Account Manager role is focused on driving Strategic Growth – Build on our recent successes to position AECOM for upcoming opportunities, including AMP8 and beyond. Lead the development and execution of client strat. It would suit someone who can bring strong professional approach to the role.

What the work leans on

AMP8 programmes with England and Wales water companies, including Yorkshire water and United utilities. The AECOM Water team has a significant market presence across the UK and Ireland, with a network of around 600 professionals delivering projects at every scale.

  • Driving Strategic Growth – Build on our recent successes to position AECOM for upcoming opportunities, including AMP8 and beyond. Lead the development and execution of client strateg.
  • Leading Major Pursuits – Take accountability for high-profile pursuits, from positioning through to successful bid delivery. Ensure AECOM’s proposals are compelling, commercially soun.
  • Collaborate & Empower – Work across technical, commercial, and operational teams to bring the best of AECOM to clients. Support delivery teams with smooth handovers to ensure excel.

Technical requirements

  • Be an accomplished leader with a proven track record in client account management, business development, and strategic growth.
  • A history of winning and leading major pursuits and complex bids.
