Job description
This Clinical Engineer role is focused on to lead the reactive and planned maintenance of ambulatory palliative care syringe pumps based in Health and Social Care Partnerships and Hospices across Greater Glasgow and Clyde. It would suit someone who can bring from 1 April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will reduce from 37 hours to 36 hours to the role.

Main responsibilities
To lead the reactive and planned maintenance of ambulatory palliative care syringe pumps based in Health and Social Care Partnerships and Hospices across Greater Glasgow and Clyde. To support the training of new members of staff and to act as a mentor for any work placement students. Assisting with medical device training for technical and clinical users to operate, care for and look after a broad range of medical devices.
