Clinical Lead focuses on clinical lead focuses on the post holder will support the cns clinical & strategic lead to provide clinical leadership to the team.
What the role involves
- Clinical Lead focuses on the post holder will support the cns clinical & strategic lead to provide clinical leadership to the team.
- Supporting the Team Coordinator with the line management of the service, and collaborate with CNS colleagues to develop.
- Supporting to CNS staff and play an active part in professional development of the clinical team.
- Provide clinical supervision and contribute to case formulation.
- Managing their inherent risk with comprehensive Clinical Risk Formulation.
- To support transitions of young people to adult services, and/or support access to appropriate mental health services, including inpatient care if required.
Skills and requirements
- Professional qualification in relevant field and accredited member of BACP or equivalent level of accreditation with NMC, UKCP, CPC, IPTUK, NCS.
- Evidence of specialised continued professional training (degree level) in relevant clinical practice.
- Post graduate qualification in leadership and management (or considerable experience in this area).
- Sound knowledge of community care issues, local health and social structures, functions and boundaries.
