• Our products change outcomes for patients worldwide, and as Clinical Lead Prosthetist , within R&D, you will help ensure those innovations are grounded in real clinical need.
• As Clinical Lead Prosthetist – R&D , you will be based at our Head Office, in Basingstoke, Hampshire.
• Delivering clinical oversight across trials, ensuring safety, ethics, and compliance.
• Supporting trial design, protocols, and outcome measures.
• Ability to maintain your HCPC registration.

Skills and requirements

• Qualified Prosthetist with 5+ years’ experience.
• Strong knowledge of lower-limb prosthetics (microprocessor & mechanical systems).
• Experience or interest in clinical research or product development.

Confirmed role details

• 25 days holiday – increased after service.
• Option to purchase additional holiday.

Candidate fit

• Provide hands-on clinical input into product development, from concept through to launch to ensure patient needs are met.
• Understanding of gait, alignment, and patient-device optimisation.

Additional role context

• Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, and global clinical teams.
• Translate clinical insight into practical product improvements.
• Represent Blatchford at conferences and industry events.
