Clinical Negligence Solicitor focuses on managing your own caseload of complex and technical clinical negligence claims.

What the role involves

• Managing your own caseload of complex and technical clinical negligence claims.
• Supervise a team of excellent and motivated case handlers under the direction of the group leader.
• Manage those you supervise.
• Undertake case planning and training of the team by utilising weekly risk assessment meetings and weekly individual 1-2-1 supervision sessions and ad hoc supervision/advice.
• Participate in team training and marketing activities.
• Maintaining the group’s case management procedures.

Skills and requirements

• We are currently recruiting for a qualified senior Solicitor.
• CILEX with solid claimant clinical negligence and proven litigation experience to join our Clinical Negligence Group.
• This is a busy and demanding role and a high standard of performance is expected, with the ability to deal sensitively with clients and professionally with experts.
• Have proven experience of and enthusiasm for supervising and guiding a team.

Confirmed role details

• This role offers hybrid working and you can work from either our Bristol or Cardiff office.
• Work 2 days a week in the office and 3 days a week from home.
• You would therefore need the infrastructure in place to work from home and will be provided with a company laptop.
