Clinical Pharmacist focuses on delivering a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service across designated wards.

What the role involves

Delivering a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service across designated wards.
Facilitate timely patient discharges and continuity of care.
Provide evidence-based medicine information and education to patients and healthcare professionals.
Participate in clinical audits and medicines management initiatives.
Supporting the induction and development of pharmacists and pharmacy staff.
Ensure compliance with local policies and best practices.

Skills and requirements

Minimum 2 years post-registration experience within a UK hospital pharmacy.
Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Pharmacy Practice or equivalent experience.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a busy clinical environment.

Confirmed role details

28 hours per week (Monday to Thursday, 09:00 – 17:00).
Band: Band 7 Equivalent.
£26ph PAYE or £35ph Umbrella.
Locum/Temporary.
