Clinical Senior Lecturer/ Consultant focuses on work to build regional, national and international research networks.

What the role involves

  • Work to build regional, national and international research networks.
  • Support a team of researchers, including postgraduate research students, with similar interests.
  • Review activity and treatment activity including with sedation and general anaesthetic).

Skills and requirements

  • Engage with internal and external educational quality assurance activities as required to ensure a high quality teaching offer.
  • Specialist level knowledge and clinical experience in Endodontics and related subjects applicable to the undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum.
  • Experience of learning and teaching in subjects related to the activities of the School at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
  • Provide leadership to teaching, research and clinical teams.

Candidate fit

  • Direct patient care x 4 (to include clinical supervision/education of students and NHS team members, new patient.
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and to manage conflicting priorities.
