This CNC Machinist (Weekend Shift) role is focused on machining of parts on 5 axis CNC machining centres. It would suit someone who can bring supporting task-by-task logistics operations while learning systems, routines, and working standards to the role.
What the work leans on
5 years (min) engineering experience within the manufacturing industry. Manual handling, slinging and lifting, and use of cranes up to 3T.
Where the technical work sits
- Responsible for machining of parts on 5 axis CNC machining centres.
- Tooling set up, support with program and process improvement activities.
- Undertaking program prove out activities, parts measurement and inspection.
Technical requirements
- High level of competency in setting and operating 5 axis machining centres.
- Experience of I.S.O programs.
