What the role involves

• Operating a Fanuc-controlled CNC drilling machine.
• Loading metal sections onto the machine and securing them correctly.
• Running pre-set programs to measure and drill holes accurately.
• Monitoring the machine during operation and making minor adjustments if needed.
• Checking finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Carrying out basic machine maintenance and cleaning.

Skills and requirements

• Previous experience operating CNC machinery (Fanuc experience preferred).
• Ability to read basic technical drawings and measurements.
• Physically fit and comfortable working with metal components.
• Experience in metal fabrication or fencing manufacturing.
