CNC team leader

As a CNC team leader, the work centres on supporting team members in identification of improvement activities and problem solving. It would suit someone who can bring careful technical judgement and practical problem-solving to the role.

Where the work sits

Masstemps are currently recruiting for experienced CNC team leaders for our busy automotive client based in Kidderminster. Materials, purchasing, maintenance and housekeeping.

Management responsibilities

Communicate production requirements ensuring work is available and resource is managed effectively. Coordinate quality requirements, ensuring customer standards are met. Supporting team members in identification of improvement activities and problem solving.

Practical details

• Assist the Shift Manager in the daily running of the shift and to deputise for the Shift Manager in their absence.
• Rotational 6am-2pm & 2pm -10pm Monday - Friday.
• Nights 10pm - 6am Sunday - Thursday.

Leadership skills and experience

• At least 5 years previous experience essential as a qualified Machine operator/ Line technician.
• Previous experience as supervisor or section leader preferred Background in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
