What the role involves

• _ Programming and editing CNC programs using Fanuc.
• _ Setting and operating Turning machines efficiently and safely.
• _ Supporting production through tooling preparation, machine setup.
• _ Managing tooling wear, offsets and tool life during production runs.
• _ Carrying out in-process inspection using a range of measurement equipment.
• _ Recording production, setting and scrap information accurately within production systems.

Skills and requirements

• Software development experience with the relevant language, framework, or platform is important.

Confirmed role details

• £17.00 to £20.00 per hour.
• An established precision engineering manufacturer is currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Programmer.
• Be responsible for programming, setting and operating Sliding Head CNC Turning Centres, supporting both new product introduction and existing production processes.
