The COMHAD Recovery Support Volunteer position in Leeds for adults centres on the COMHAD team provide specialist care for service users with mental health and addiction support needs. It would suit someone who can bring reliability, clear communication, and practical judgement to the role.

Role overview

Forward Leeds is delivered by 4 services in partnership, led by Waythrough. Forward Leeds is the alcohol and drug service in Leeds for adults, young people and families.

Main responsibilities

The COMHAD team provide specialist care for service users with mental health and addiction support needs. Provide support for clients with any unmet needs (health, housing, benefits, criminal justice, for example). This role will support service users who are experiencing co-occurring mental health and addiction (COMHAD) issues.
