What the role involves

• The work is varied and challenging but rewarding and the team places a high value on mutual support and co-operation.
• Reporting to the partner in charge of the Contract Resolution Group the primary focus of the role is twofold.
• Management of a personal caseload of between 25 and 40 varied, complex and often high value cases, including responsibility for day-to-day client relationships.
• Proactive management and supervision of a small number of junior casehandlers.

Skills and requirements

• Exceptional technical knowledge based on demonstrable practical experience of the application of legal principles to a wide variety of contract-based consumer and commercial claims.
• Ability to take full responsibility for cases and strategy (subject to supervisory and group support where required).
• Experience of supervision of junior casehandlers, encompassing both strategic advice, complaint resolution and development planning.
• Ability to deal flexibly with a wide range of business partners and clients.
