This Commercial Manager role is focused on motivate, coach and develop field teams to deliver outstanding performance and develop the potential and capability of each member, in order to deliver against key metrics. It would suit someone who can bring strong professional approach to the role.
What the work leans on
Management of sales and activation team, including 3rd party sales assigned to the area allocated to you. Responsible for successfully executing how Diageo brands show up in the independent free trade.
Where the technical work sits
- Motivate, coach and develop field teams to deliver outstanding performance and develop the potential and capability of each member, in order to deliver against key metrics.
- Create strong cross functional relationships working with technical, customer marketing and category teams to deliver regional KPIs and ongoing growth.
- Diageo has built a strong platform for growth – through investment in its own brands, and by acquisition to broaden the geographical footprint and category depth and range.
Technical requirements
- Develop market leading RTM relationships with the relevant regional sales directors and stakeholders in target RTMs, making Diageo the supplier of choice.
- Flexibility is key to success in our business, and many of our staff work flexibly in many ways, including part-time, compressed hours, flexible location.
- Experienced commercial professional, with solid track record of managing P&L and consistently delivering results.
