Commercial Manager
Job description
This Commercial Manager opportunity is built around providing commercial leadership across the project lifecycle including governance and strategic advice to bid teams alongside support from our Legal function. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.
Where ownership sits
Provide functional support to wider project, market sector and/or business development leadership teams. Work with bid and proposal teams to support and critically analyse the pricing documents, qualifications and project execution methodology.
What the role carries
Provide commercial leadership across the project lifecycle including governance and strategic advice to bid teams alongside support from our Legal function. Develop and mentor junior colleagues in the Commercial team, including the wider Capture Manager, PM / Delivery community. Supporting the commercial and operations team’s business improvement initiatives.
What the role depends on
- Ability to lead, an effective communicator that can positively influence stakeholders.
- Demonstrable capacity and ability to prioritise and lead in heavy workload environments often with short notice competing deadlines.
- Suitable post-qualification experience gained across delivery roles or legal, commercial or finance roles within the Built Environment or Construction industry.
