What the role involves
- Accurately measuring ingredients to support the chef de partie.
- Preparing ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping produce, and seasoning various meats.
- Assisting in the preparation of basic salads and sauces according to the chef de partie’s instructions.
- Receiving and checking deliveries to ensure all items are complete and meet quality standards.
- Monitoring inventory levels and informing the supervisor when supplies are running low.
- Safely discarding expired or spoiled food from storage areas, refrigerators, and freezers.
Skills and requirements
- NVQ Level 2 Culinary or equivalent, Food hygiene certificate – Level 2.
Confirmed role details
- Monday to Friday.
- 07:00am to 15:00pm.
- Immediate start.
