Community Care Professional focuses on support to clients in the community —enabling clients to maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life within their own homes.
What the role involves
- Support to clients in the community —enabling clients to maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life within their own homes.
- Delivering high-quality, person-centred care in clients’ homes.
- Supporting with daily living tasks such as washing, dressing, mobility, light household duties and meal preparation.
- Build positive, trusting relationships.
- Assisting with medication prompts and general wellbeing monitoring.
- Accompanying your client to appointments, or a visit to the shops.
Skills and requirements
- One hour minimum visits with clients to allow time to care, complete tasks without rushing and get to know your clients.
- Matching of Care Professionals and clients based on mutual interests and hobbies, so there is never something short to talk about and you can provide more personalised support.
- A warm and friendly company with a large community outreach and opportunities to get involved with local events and fundraising.
- Fully paid training, mentor systems for the first 12 weeks, then continued 24/7 support from our office.
