Community Nurse (District Nursing)

Role overview
As a member of the district nursing team the post holder will be able to support patients, families and carers in order to achieve optimum health and independence. Care plans in accordance with NMC standards for records.
Care and support involved
Ensure implementation of local, regional and national policies, procedures and guidelines pertinent to their area in the pursuit of the highest standard of care. Maintaining accurate up-to-date clinical records. Record keeping, ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act and the Freedom of Information Act.

Care skills and requirements
- 1st Level Registration or 2nd Level Registration.
