Community Safety and Safeguarding Officer

This Community Safety and Safeguarding Officer role is focused on to ensure and support Teams self-develop design out crime action plans to resolve nuisance, environmental crime and ASB on estates. It would suit someone who can bring supporting task-by-task logistics operations while learning systems, routines, and working standards to the role.

The Group employs more than 750 staff, works with over 150 volunteers and provides training places and apprenticeships for many more. The Group has an annual turnover of more than £37m and owns assets close than £190m.

Where someone would start

To ensure and support Teams self-develop design out crime action plans to resolve nuisance, environmental crime and ASB on estates. To monitor performance and quality check low level nuisance and ASB cases. To ensure that action plans include key agencies, such as Police, Community Safety, Environmental Services and Repairs.

Job details

• 34 days annual leave, plus the option to purchase up to 5 additional days.
• Have proven experience within the social housing sector or local authority dealing with ASB and tenancy breaches.
• Confident in communicating with people in challenging circumstances involving ASB and jointly agree resolutions.
• Able to use your own initiative, organising your workload to meet KPIs.
