Company Group Accountant

This Company Group Accountant role is focused on the successful applicant will take responsibility for the day to day running of the finance function and report into the Group Finance Director. It would suit someone who can bring handling cycle-by-cycle responsibilities with consistency and care to the role.

How the role works day to day

The successful applicant will take responsibility for the day to day running of the finance function and report into the Group Finance Director. Leading the month end close including journals, reconciliations and supporting schedules. Managing stock and provide support for stock takes, process PAYE payments, process supplier payments, statutory filings including ONS surveys etc, sales analysis reporting for the MD.

What needs to be in place

• Ideally qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA, qualified by experience and part qualified candidates with the relevant skills set will also be considered.
• There is a small accounts team for which some supervision may be required.
