Computational Fluid Dynamics Engineer focuses on simulations of single and multi-storey complex data centres.

What the role involves

  • Simulations of single and multi-storey complex data centres.
  • Modelling different scenarios or changes and seeing how they affect the cooling effectiveness under normal working conditions and during failure scenarios.
  • CFD Modelling of high- and low-density cabinets, under-floor ventilation systems, racks, servers, PDU's, CRAC's, fans and diffusers.
  • Preparing technical reports, specifications, detailed briefs.
  • Liaise with the Mechanical and PH Engineers.
  • Ensure an integrated solution is adopted.

Skills and requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • CFD knowledge ideally Cadence Reality DC (previously Future Facilities).
  • Reporting knowledge (Excel, desired Power-Bi, ideally: Tableau).
  • Technical Writer skills desired.
