As a Computer Science ECT, the work centres on assisting in developing innovative teaching resources. It would suit someone who can bring clear communication, reliability, and practical judgement to the role.
How the role is set up
Students engage in programming, robotics, cyber security modules and GCSE Computer Science. Resources include dedicated computer suites, coding software, Raspberry Pi kits and extracurricular coding clubs.
Where someone would start
Assisting in developing innovative teaching resources. Teaching Computer Science across KS3–KS4. Supporting coding clubs/competitions + enrichment projects.
What is expected
- QTS (or working towards) + Computer Science degree or similar.
- Knowledge of Python/Java or other programming skills beneficial.
- Commitment to developing student digital literacy + creativity.
