- Deliver engaging Computer Studies lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering areas such as programming, data representation, networks, and online safety.
- Build students' computational thinking and logical problem-solving skills progressively throughout the year.
- Preparing pupils effectively for GCSE assessments.
- Provide targeted, constructive feedback.
- Tailor teaching methods to meet the needs of learners across the full ability range.
Skills and requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- A degree in Computer Science, Computing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience teaching Computer Studies or Computing at secondary level is desirable.
- Strong subject knowledge across programming languages, hardware, software, and digital systems.
