What the role involves
- Deliver engaging Computer Studies lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Teaching computing and related topics across Key Stages 3, 4 & 5.
- Develop students’ understanding of programming, digital literacy, and computer systems.
- Monitor, and track student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning.
Skills and requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Computer Science, Computing, Information Technology, or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Computer Studies or Computing in a school setting is desirable.
- Ability to inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for technology.
