Computer Studies Teacher focuses on deliver engaging computer studies lessons in line with the national curriculum.

What the role involves

  • Deliver engaging Computer Studies lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Teaching computing and related topics across Key Stages 3, 4 & 5.
  • Develop students’ understanding of programming, digital literacy, and computer systems.
  • Monitor, and track student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning.

Skills and requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Computing, Information Technology, or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching Computer Studies or Computing in a school setting is desirable.
  • Ability to inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for technology.
