This Construction Assurance & Integration Engineer role is focused on managing, identifying, and resolving snags and liaising with Operators and contractors after the takeover to handle defects, the aftercare process, and performance testing. It would suit someone who can bring strong professional approach to the role.
Role overview
Working as an active member of one or more project teams with one or more of our contractors. Ensuring that all non-conformances are identified throughout the pre-construction/construction phase and corrected.
Main responsibilities
Managing, identifying, and resolving snags and liaising with Operators and contractors after the takeover to handle defects, the aftercare process, and performance testing. Monitoring, agreed on, and approved takeover tests with the project team. We are focused on the construction phase of Water & Wastewater projects, assessing and reporting on project progress, addressing issues, and taking the lead on the escalation proce.

Requirements
- Conduct health and safety audits to ensure relevant issues are addressed.
- Supporting essential design and delivery reviews, identifying risks and issues, and working with stakeholders to resolve them.
- Ensure that the required project documentation meets our specifications and that the information for taking over is approved.
Job details
- 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 with the length of service. (Plus bank holidays).
- Understand Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 with a working understanding of the duty holders’ responsibilities.
- Contributory pension – Defined Contribution - Maximum of 12% -2x employee contribution.
- You must be Onsite 3-4 days a week, 36 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
