Construction Cost Engineering Manager focuses on build scalable costing datasets, and contribute to the development of next-generation automation that multiplies the team's reach.

What the role involves

• Build scalable costing datasets, and contribute to the development of next-generation automation that multiplies the team's reach.
• Develop cost estimates from early-stage concept inputs through RFP-ready construction drawing sets, adapting methodology and analytical depth to available information at each proje.
• Design direction is still evolving.
• Generate high-level ROMs for early-stage project exploration when data is limited.
• Design engineers, and category managers to gather site-specific inputs, validate assumptions.
• Peer review estimates and cost models produced by teammates to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with current market pricing.

Skills and requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Design and Engineering, Commercial Development, analysis and control of construction costs or similar.
• Experience operating within at least two disciplines within the construction industry, such as Contracting, Owners Representation, Architecture.
• Experience contributing to AI tool development in an estimating or procurement context is a strong differentiator.
