Consultant Dermatologist
The Consultant Dermatologist position centres on supporting the medical team with counselling and management of melanoma and other cancer patients. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with learners to the role.

The post holder will support the continued development of excellent outpatient dermatological care and take a lead role for future service development opportunities.
Care and support involved
Support the medical team with counselling and management of melanoma and other cancer patients. This is closely supported by a specialist nurse team who carry out a full range of treatments such as surgery, phototherapy, PDT, patch testing, day treatments. The successful candidate would be expected to develop.
Care skills and requirements
- We are ideally seeking a candidate with MOPS/ Cancer experience.
- CCT (proposed date must be within 6 months of interview) in Dermatology.
- Attend appropriate training courses.
Job details
- The provisional timetable will be a 10 PA contract, involving a mixture of minor operations, outpatient work as well as SPA, admin time and non-face-to-face direct clinical contact.
- We are happy to accept applications for Part Time and Full Time roles.
- Additional detail: Training or development support may be provided.
