Consultant Palliative Care

The Consultant Palliative Care position centres on providing specialist palliative care to patients within the cancer centre. It would suit someone who can bring patience, clear communication, and care for residents or service users to the role.

Who the work supports

Rate: £95-£105p/h. Is offered for an initial 3-month period, with a Tuesday to Thursday working pattern (6 sessions) and no on-call commitment, providing an excellent work-life balance.

How support shows up

Provide specialist palliative care to patients within the cancer centre. Delivering holistic assessment and management of patients with complex needs. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care.

What needs to be in place

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
• A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check - or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process.
