Who the work supports

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-volume and clinically diverse acute medical unit, serving the population of Tower Hamlets and wider East London. Our service delivers a consultant-led model of care across the Acute Assessment Unit, Emergency Department and Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC).

We support flexible working and self-rostering within the acute rota, enabling consultants to balance clinical commitments with other professional interests.

Care skills and requirements

• MRCP (UK) or equivalent recognised postgraduate qualification.
• CCT or CESR in Acute Internal Medicine or General Internal Medicine (or within 6 months of interview date).
• Higher degree (MD, PhD or equivalent).
