What the role involves

• As a Mental Health Psychiatrist, you will deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred care within a secure and supportive prison environment.
• Take the lead on safe and effective prescribing, contribute to key clinical decisions through MDT discussions.
• Ensure care is evidence‑based and aligned with NICE guidance.

Skills and requirements

• Approved under Section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act 1983.

Confirmed role details

• £120,000 - £130,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus group pension.
• 25 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays.
• Company Policy Sick pay.
• Care – backed up by at least £100,000 of ringfenced innovation funding each year.
