Contractor Supervising Officer

This Contractor Supervising Officer role is focused on proactively manage health and safety performance by carrying out regular site inspections and safety walks and engaging with your team and contractors. It would suit someone who can bring have a proven track record for managing contractors and subcontractors preferably in Hard FM Commercial / industrial properties to the role.

Why this role may suit you

Issue compliance paperwork to allow contractors to operate on client site safely and to submitted RAMS. Inform the infrastructure maintenance manager of any safety or quality issues discovered.

What you would be doing

Proactively manage health and safety performance by carrying out regular site inspections and safety walks and engaging with your team and contractors. To ensure all subcontractor works delivered across site are managed safely and in accordance with the client subcontractor control process. Carry out Periodic inspections of all contractors works, review and assure their performance.

Have a proven track record for managing contractors and subcontractors preferably in Hard FM Commercial / industrial properties. Be focused, driven, and have a desire to succeed, overcome problems and improve processes.

What you need

• Hold relevant professional, technical, or management qualifications and experience with the ability to lead large teams effectively.
• Appointed person for set disciplines depending on experience and competency (training to be provided where required).
• Attend and participate in training and appraisal activities as required.
