What the role involves
- Progress a personal caseload of residential property transactions from initial instruction to completion.
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and leasehold enfranchisement, ensuring momentum and meeting agreed timescales.
- Provide clear and practicable legal advice to clients on all aspects of residential conveyancing, identify.
- Managing risk, and take responsibility for resolving complex or novel legal issues.
- Review and draft transaction documentation such as contracts, transfer deeds, priority documentation, replies to pre‑contract enquiries and requisitions on title.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with lender and firm requirements.
Skills and requirements

- Qualified solicitor with 2 years+ PQE handling residential conveyancing matters within a law firm.
- Technical knowledge of residential conveyancing practice.
- Searches, title issues, leasehold matters, mortgage documentation, SDLT and completion accounting.
