What the role involves

  • Progress a personal caseload of residential property transactions from initial instruction to completion.
  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and leasehold enfranchisement, ensuring momentum and meeting agreed timescales.
  • Provide clear and practicable legal advice to clients on all aspects of residential conveyancing, identify.
  • Managing risk, and take responsibility for resolving complex or novel legal issues.
  • Review and draft transaction documentation such as contracts, transfer deeds, priority documentation, replies to pre‑contract enquiries and requisitions on title.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with lender and firm requirements.

Skills and requirements

  • With over 15 years of experience, we connect law firms and conveyancing practices with the talent they need to grow.
  • Qualified solicitor with 2 years+ PQE handling residential conveyancing matters within a law firm.
  • Technical knowledge of residential conveyancing practice.
  • Searches, title issues, leasehold matters, mortgage documentation, SDLT and completion accounting.
