- Consider residents' preferences and cultural needs.
- Work within budget while maintaining quality.
Skills and requirements
- Experience as a cook/chef (ideally in healthcare or care homes).
- Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or 3).
- Knowledge of dietary requirements for elderly people.
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Catering or Professional Cookery.
