Corporate Legal Counsel
Job description
The Corporate Legal Counsel position in England centres on leading and support a wide range of corporate and M&A transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, strategic investments and group reorganisations. It would suit someone who can bring managing and oversee external legal advisers to ensure value, quality and consistency of service to the role.

How the role works day to day
Leading and support a wide range of corporate and M&A transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, strategic investments and group reorganisations. Coordinating with internal stakeholders and external counsel to ensure transactions are executed efficiently, with clear risk identification and mitigation. Develop and maintain internal corporate governance policies and frameworks.

What needs to be in place
- Post-qualification experience (4+ PQE) gained in a leading law firm and/or in-house within financial services.
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent common law jurisdiction).
- Experience within a FTSE-listed or regulated financial institution.
