This Cost/Billing Manager opportunity in Legal Aid is built around managing legal aid billing accounts to ensure timely and accurate claims. It would suit someone who can bring strong professional approach to the role.

Working hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm (Monday to Friday)Hybrid working23 days annual leave + bank holidaysOn-site parking. The Legal Aid Costs Manager is responsible for maximising cost recovery on legally aided cases.

What you would be doing

Managing legal aid billing accounts to ensure timely and accurate claims. Preparing and submit cost claims to the LAA or courts (Family matters). Track billing stages and monitor payment progress.

What you need

  • Strong knowledge of the Legal Aid Agency funding system.
  • Experience in Legal Aid (Family work).
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.
