Courier focuses on ensure that all distribution activities are completed in accordance with approved documentation to support each distribution program.

What the role involves

• Ensure that all Distribution activities are completed in accordance with approved documentation to support each distribution program.
• Maintain computer transactions in line with distribution and material control systems.
• Preparing the associated shipping documentation required for Project and Ancillary shipments in accordance with the relevant SOPs, the protocol specific GDS or shipment specific DSS,.
• Generate shipment invoices, e-Cert documents (CofO, EUR1, ATR-1 forms, etc.) and any other country specific documents/declarations (as applicable) for each shipment.
• Track and trace outbound shipments with couriers following despatch to ensure they have been or will be delivered in time - highlighting known exceptions to the relevant DC and Pro.
• Liaise with couriers with regard to arranging quotations, timelines, collections, onward shipping details and proof of delivery (POD).

Skills and requirements

• Previous experience of working in a busy office environment, especially in relation to archiving and filing.
• GCSE in five subject areas at Grade C or above including Maths and English (or equivalent).

• CPL have partnered with ALMAC Group to recruit for a Distribution Associate to join their team on a temporary, on-going contract.
• · Hours – 37.5 hours per week working Monday to Friday· Shift - 08:00 - 16:00 OR 09:00 -17:00.
• The post holder will be responsible for carrying out clerical duties relating to Distribution orders shipping from Craigavon or Dundalk facilities.
• Will include the generation or independent review of associated shipping documentation required for the effective control of material throughout the despatch and distribution proce.
