Creative Primary Teaching Assistant Role
Job description
As a Teaching Assistant, the work centres on providing 1:1 support and small-group assistance throughout the school day. It would suit someone who can bring great communication and interpersonal skills to the role.
Role overview
Supporting a small class of 6–8 pupils with a range of special educational needs including speech & language difficulties, mild autism, physical disabilities, and learning challeng. Encouraging pupils to learn through play, expression, and hands-on activities.
Main responsibilities
Providing 1:1 support and small-group assistance throughout the school day. Helping deliver a tailored, pupil-centred curriculum. If you are enthusiastic about education, eager to learn, and comfortable working with children with special needs, the school will provide on-site training and continuous support.
